The Swiss First Grand Suite combines a single window seat with a central Suite Plus to create a private space for up to three passengers
Swiss is poised to introduce a ¡®First Grand Suite¡¯
product in 2026 that combines two first class suites and the aisle between them
into a single, private space that can serve as an office or meeting room for up
to three passengers.
The airline, which is unique among international
airlines in offering first class on all long-haul routes, will enable
passengers to book a single suite by the window together with a central Suite
Plus ¨C which combines two seats ¨C and the aisle in between them to create a self-contained
space with 1.8-metre-high walls.
Swiss says the product is aimed at ¡°top premium
travellers who attach high value to space, calm and privacy, be it for business
or personal reasons¡± and can be used as an office, meeting room, bedroom, dining space or as a combination of those functions.
The First Grand Suite is part of the airline¡¯s broader
Swiss Senses cabin and service concept and will be introduced on its new Airbus
A350s and on refurbished A330s from early 2026 on flights from Switzerland, and
on its Boeing 777s at a later date.
First Grand Suites will only be bookable via the
airline¡¯s Swiss First hotline.
¡°With our new Swiss First Grand Suite, we¡¯re further
expanding our first class service product with an option that is specifically
aimed at those of our top premium customers who are seeking even more privacy
and even more scope to design their personal space on board,¡± says Swiss chief commercial
officer Heike Birlenbach.
