Tetra Pak's Ulrika Ros¨¦n
Ulrika Ros¨¦n, travel & meeting manager at Tetra Pak, has been named the Nordic travel manager of the year at the Nordic Business Travel Summit.
The food and drink processing and packaging company has more than 25,000 employees globally and achieved net sales of more than €10.8 billion in 2020. We spoke to Ros¨¦n?back in 2019 about her programme.
Ros¨¦n told BTN Europe, ¡°I am so proud to have been nominated and to have won the award. I am passionate about travel and even though 2020 has been a different year due to the pandemic, travel is still part of our company in order to support our customers.
¡°I believe it has been important to develop our tools, process and learnings about travel and travel security but also to keep our suppliers and partners informed on what we have done internally both when it comes to travel restrictions but also to reassure them that travel is still on the agenda.¡±
Lotten Fowler, general manager of the SBTA ¨C one of the four Nordic buyer associations ¨C said: ¡°The jury was unanimous when it came to choosing the winner, and the reason for that was Ulrika and her colleagues have, together with OHS, HR, communications and travel, formed one workstream in the central COVID support team.
¡°This workstream was awarded internally with an Excellence Award ¨C transforming the way they work. Among the many actions they took, they launched a movie called New Ways of Travel as a general intro to business travel and e-learning.¡±
During yesterday's Summit keynote, former Finnish prime minister Alexander Stubb talked about the future of business travel and his views on Brexit.
