Ryanair has said it will end its GDS partnership with Amadeus on December 15 after both parties were unable to reach a renewed commercial agreement.
The carrier says it will continue to service travel agents through Travelport and Sabre, where its commercial agreements ¡°remain unchanged¡±.
Ryanair and Amadeus signed a partnership agreement in 2014, but the airline¡¯s Kenny Jacobs said the two entities had failed to agree a new deal.
Jacobs said: ¡°We wish Amadeus well and thank them for their support during our successful GDS partnership. We will continue to work together through our use of the Nativaire platform, an Amadeus company.¡±
Jacobs commented that the end of the partnership will have ¡°no impact¡± on customers¡¯ ability to access fares directly via the Ryanair website.
