Oversee,?formerly FairFly,?provides AI technology that can?automate repetitive tasks for travel agents, such as requests for bookings and exchanges and creating shell passenger name records. BCD had been conducting a pilot programme with Oversee, automating emailed service requests for multiple companies, according to the travel management company.
BCD reported that its agent workflows improved as did compliance with service-level agreements in those pilot markets. It now is expanding its partnership with Oversee across its operations, which "aligns with our strategic focus on digital transformation, allowing us to automate intelligently while maintaining the personal service travellers expect," BCD SVP of product planning and development Yannis Karmis said in a statement.
Oversee CEO and co-founder Aviel Siman-Tov said that the company built its agentic AI tools "to support the unique workflows of TMCs" and that the work with BCD is "proving how AI can enhance, not replace, the human side of travel management."
The move comes just weeks after the TMC agreed a partnership with?AI corporate travel assistant SkyLink, which offers a chat-based booking experience.?
