Payments company AirPlus has announced two new appointments: Erik
Mosch in the newly created role of chief operating officer and Fred Baup as global
head of sales.
Mosch takes
responsibility for customer service and business operations and will gradually
take on the role of chairing the boards of the company¡¯s subsidiaries. Between
2013 and 2018, Mosch was CEO of Lufthansa InTouch in Berlin and was responsible
for the global customer service of Lufthansa Group Airlines. Subsequently, he
was head of product management at Austrian Airlines.?
Baup was previously AirPlus¡¯ head of EMEA, responsible for sales
in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He was previously with Discover Bank,
where he held several leadership positions in the bank global network division
over a period of nine years.?
Baup reports to CEO Oliver Wagner and succeeds Jon Fox, who will
leave AirPlus to take on a new challenge.
