HQ, which won BTN Group¡¯s 2023 Innovator of the Year Award, said this latest deal would give its clients access to Talixo¡¯s global inventory covering 1,100 cities in 130 countries. Talixo becomes part of the HQ Connect supplier network with its services integrated within HQ¡¯s SummitGround platform.
¡°This is particularly beneficial for late-night rides home, airport transfers and inter-city business travel,¡± added HQ in a statement.
The company added that all Talixo¡¯s vehicles and drivers were ¡°thoroughly vetted and fully insured¡± to meet HQ Connect¡¯s safety standards.
Jeff LaFave, managing director of HQ, said: ¡°Partnering with Talixo allows us to provide our clients with a wide range of ground travel options that are both cost-efficient and reliable. ?
¡°With millions of rides serviced, Talixo has a proven track record in using data to optimise the passenger experience, which further strengthens HQ's commitment to enhancing ground travel through innovation and insights.¡±?
HQ has completed a series of partnerships in recent years, including deals with UK-based Addison Lee in June and London taxi specialist Gett in 2023.
Sebastian Kleinau, founder and CEO of Talixo, added: ¡°Ground transportation is the connective tissue for most travel itineraries. But the reality is that it's highly fragmented - and as a result often overlooked in corporate travel.
¡°We are proud to partner with HQ, who share our vision for creating more connected journeys for business travellers with reliable, globally standardised car services.¡±
