UK-based Virgin Atlantic has opened a signature Clubhouse lounge at Los Angeles International Airport, the airline announced on Thursday (27 March).

Located in the Tom Bradley International Terminal, the lounge features distinct spaces 每 either for dining and relaxing, work or mindfulness 每 as well as shower facilities and a VIP area.
The carrier said the lounge was ※designed with wellness in mind§ and to ※encourage mindfulness§ before its three overnight flights to London Heathrow.
It includes the &Ruby Room*, a ※Hollywood-inspired space§ with its own cinema featuring wireless headsets; a VIP area with a ※secret menu§ and mood lighting known as &The Royal Box*; sound-proof work pods in &The Wing*; and a fitness and relaxation space that includes on-demand content for strength and mobility training, known as &The Zen Den* (below).

Table service dining is offered ※at every seat§ throughout the facility, while health-conscious snacks and salads are available for self-service. A bar (main image, top of page) also serves a mix of cocktails and vitamin-infused, non-alcoholic drinks.
※Everything about the Clubhouse at LAX is intentionally designed and pays homage to both our British roots and local Los Angeles tastes,§ said the carrier's chief customer and operating officer, Corneel Koster. ※LA is a global hub for wellness, and this new Clubhouse caters uniquely to that mindset.§
The Clubhouse is open daily to passengers travelling in Upper Class, Flying Club Gold tier members, Delta One customers travelling on a Delta Air Lines international flights, and SkyTeam Elite Plus members travelling with Virgin or Delta.
