Middle Eastern carrier Oman Air has officially joined Oneworld, becoming the airline alliance*s 15th member.

The Muscat-based airline officially joins Oneworld on Tuesday (1 July) in a move that ※strengthens the alliance's presence across the?Middle East?and unlocks new opportunities for global travel§.
Oman Air is the third Middle Eastern member of Oneworld, alongside Qatar Airways and Royal Jordanian. The airline flies to 42 destinations in 22 countries from its hub at Muscat.
The move means that Oneworld customers can access Oman Air*s flights, including its new Muscat每Amsterdam service, which also launches on 1 July.

Oman Air will also provide Oneworld*s Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby customers with benefits such as earning and redeeming miles, earning status points, priority check-in and boarding, plus lounge access.
Meanwhile the airline*s premium travellers will be able to use Oneworld*s network of around 700 airport lounges globally, including new Oneworld-branded lounges at Amsterdam*s Schiphol and Seoul's?Incheon airports.
