Flag carrier Finnair is set to add a new US route to its
network and continue flights from Sweden to two American destinations throughout
next summer.
The airline will launch direct flights from Helsinki to
Seattle on 1 June 2022. The service will operate three times per week on
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with flights departing Helsinki at 1755 and
landing at 1740 local time the same day. Return services take off at 1920 and
arrive in Finland at 1450 the following day.
In addition, Finnair will continue operating its flights
from Stockholm to both New York JFK and Los Angeles throughout summer 2022. Owing
to strong demand, the carrier will boost the frequencies of these services from
1 May, operating to New York daily and to Los Angeles four times a week.
For the summer season, the carrier will also operate flights
from Helsinki to Dallas, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
To aid connections from the UK to its wider network across
Asia and the US, Finnair will also increase the frequency of flights between
Heathrow and Helsinki to four per day for summer 2022, with widebody aircraft
operating two of those services.
