AirBaltic has announced the addition of three new routes to its
winter schedule and has this week commenced services from both Tallinn and
Vilnius to Tirana.
The two new services to Tirana join the airline*s existing
flights from its Riga base, meaning all three Baltic capitals are now directly
connected to the Albanian capital. Both additions will operate twice per week and continue
through to 30 September.
※Since the launch of direct flights from our
home base in Riga to Tirana last year, demand for travel between the Baltics
and Albania has grown significantly,§ said Mantas Vrubliauskas, VP network management at?airBaltic.
Meanwhile, the airline will launch three new routes this winter:
Riga to Faro, from 6 September; Ljubljana to Gran Canaria, from 25 October; and
Tallinn to Madeira, from 26 October.
The airline will also increase flight frequencies from its three
Baltic hubs to Amsterdam this winter 每 offering 19 flights a week from Riga and
14 per week from both Tallinn and Vilnius 每 and plans to resume flights between
Riga and Dublin.
In total, airBaltic operates nearly 130 routes from Riga,
Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere and, seasonally, Gran Canaria.
